Dear Potential Sponsor,

The California Educators of the Deaf (Cal-ED) is hosting its annual conference in Burbank, California September 30-October 2, 2022. This year’s theme is Full STEAM Ahead! As we embark on this amazing future filled with new possibilities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics it is critical that we continue to view each through the lens of Social Justice. Your contribution to this year’s conference is essential in supporting Deaf Education in California, as well as across the nation, as we collaborate with our colleagues to lift, educate, nurture, and heal all of our Deaf students as they move forward on their educational journeys in unprecedented times.

We appreciate the opportunity to come together every year to collaborate, and more so than ever following the school closures due to Covid-19. We look forward to gathering and collectively building the future we know our Deaf students deserve. It is with this common goal that we will meet with about 300 educators, administrators, paraprofessionals, service providers, interpreters and families to network, share experiences, teach and learn new strategies, and build our capacity to navigate the every-changing needs of our Deaf students, while supporting and recognizing the hard working individuals that tirelessly contribute to the field of Deaf Education.
