The California Educators of the Deaf (CAL-ED) are hosting its 64th conference in La Jolla, California October 25 - 27, 2024. This year’s theme is: Mosaic Experiences: Reframing and Reconnecting in Deaf Education. As we embark on this amazing future filled with new possibilities in Science, Technology, Social Justice. Your contribution to this year’s conference is essential in supporting Deaf Education in California, as Engineering, Art, and Mathematics it is critical that we continue to view each through the lens of well as across the nation, as we collaborate with our colleagues and community members to lift, educate, nurture, and heal all of our Deaf students as they move forward on their educational journeys in unprecedented times.
We look forward to gathering and collectively building the future we know our Deaf students deserve. It is with this common goal that we will meet with about 300 educators, administrators, paraprofessionals, service providers, interpreter, community members, and families to network, share experiences, teach and learn new strategies, and build our capacity to navigate the every-changing needs of our Deaf students, while supporting and recognizing the hard working individuals that tirelessly contribute to the field of Deaf Education.
