    Dear Potential Sponsor,

The California Educators of the Deaf (Cal-ED) is hosting its annual conference in Burbank, California September 30-October 2, 2022. This year’s theme is Full STEAM Ahead!  As we embark on this amazing future filled with new possibilities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics it is critical that we continue to view each through the lens of Social Justice. Your contribution to this year’s conference is essential in supporting Deaf Education in California, as well as across the nation, as we collaborate with our colleagues to lift, educate, nurture, and heal all of our Deaf students as they move forward on their educational journeys in unprecedented times.

We appreciate the opportunity to come together every year to collaborate, and more so than ever following the school closures due to Covid-19. We look forward to gathering and collectively building the future we know our Deaf students deserve. It is with this common goal that we will meet with about 300 educators, administrators, paraprofessionals, service providers, interpreters and families to network, share experiences, teach and learn new strategies, and build our capacity to navigate the every-changing needs of our Deaf students, while supporting and recognizing the hard working individuals that tirelessly contribute to the field of Deaf Education.

It is with great honor and humility that we acknowledge the importance of your donation and are reminded of how vital you are to the continued work of our organization and to the success of our Deaf students. Your support will truly further the mission of Cal-ED to provide the quality education of Deaf students and foster the collaborative network of resources, professional development, advocacy, and information sharing on relevant topics for professionals, families, and stakeholders in the field of Deaf Education.

California Educators of the Deaf* is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Please take a moment to look over the sponsorship menu to determine which level best defines your contribution to elevating the field of Deaf Education.

We look forward to your generous response and appreciate your willingness to support the education of 17,000 Deaf children in California. Thank you in advance for making a difference in the lives of  Deaf children and their families.

If you have any questions, please contact Shane Molaison 2022 Cal-ED Sponsorship Chair at treasurer@cal-ed.org.

The Deaf Ecosystem Day exhibition center, will take place on October 1 & 2, 2022, at the Marriott Los Angeles Burbank Airport Hotel in Burbank, CA. The exhibition center will be available for the attendees on that day to coincide with the meeting sessions of the Cal-Ed Conference.

What is the Deaf Ecosystem Day exhibition? It is the flow of Deaf-owned businesses, professionals, organizations, schools, and resources within the Deaf community. They contribute to our community to create positive opportunities, increase choices, encourage collaboration, foster connection, create healthy Deaf identities, and have resourceful organizations and services available for the Deaf. You will have an opportunity to showcase your products and services.
