Please join California Educators of the Deaf from November 6 & 7, 2026 for the 65th annual CAL-ED conference at Ohlone College in Fremont, California.

This year’s theme is Signs of the Future: AI in Deaf Education.

We invite you to be a part of the amazing cultural and linguistic landscape of Deaf Education. Our communities are so diverse and only through connecting with other professional colleagues, can we strengthen our networking bonds, our multilingual and multimodal teaching practices and our shared unique experiences. Your upbringing, your education, your values and your cultures are significant in acknowledging the diverse Deaf student population and through reconnecting our  shared understandings.

As a member of this organization, you are an integral member of the larger experiences related to Deaf education. Each child within Deaf education is given a safe space to be seen as a contributing agent to change. This conference presents us with an opportunity to meet at this critical juncture where our collective knowledge, wisdom, resources, and love for our Deaf students will be spotlighted, shared, and realized in multiple forums.

Join us as we collaborate with our colleagues to lift, educate, nurture, and strengthen  all of our students and support them on their educational journeys in these unprecedented times.
